Diminished Ovarian Reserve(DOR)

Diminished Ovarian Reserve is when a woman’s egg count is lower than expected for age. This means that menopause will occur earlier than the expected average age of 52 years old. If fertility is desired, fertility should be pursued sooner rather than later.

Symptoms of Diminished Ovarian Reserve Include

  • Difficulty getting pregnant 

  • Miscarriage 

  • Heavy menstrual flow 

  • Late, absent menstruation or shorter menstrual cycles
